Several years ago, while visiting friends on the Big Island of Hawaii, founder Art McMillan tasted a delicious island treat. It was a special cookie made from an old-time island recipe. One bite and Artie's mouth exploded with flavor! It was like nothing he ever tasted before! A perfect blend of crunchy and sweet. So impressed with the cookies, Artie brought dozens home to share with family and friends. Soon, everybody wanted more but no matter how hard Artie searched, he couldn't find anything like the special Hawaiian cookies.

Being a clever man, Artie thought, "Why don't I make them myself!" and that he did! The cookies were such a hit, Artie retired from his successful corporate career and Artie's Typhoon Cookies were born! Artie's Typhoon Cookies has grown from a small oven in Artie's home to what is today!
